What do the job level options mean when registering for training?

Explains what Managers, Mid-managers, Junior staff, and Senior staff mean when selecting a job level during Quizrr training registration.

Written by Berit Schröter

When you register for training, you'll be asked to select your job level. Here's what each option means:

  • Junior staff: New worker or just starting out.

  • Senior staff: Experienced worker, not a manager.

  • Team leader / supervisor / manager: You guide or manage other people.

  • Director / senior manager: Executive or top manager.

Which training you get

Your job level decides which training you get. You learn about the same topics in both trainings. What changes is your role in them.

  • With basic training, you learn what you can expect from your organization and your managers. You get it if you choose Junior staff or Senior staff.

  • With advanced training, you learn what you and your organization must do to create a proper working environment. You get it if you choose Team leader / supervisor / manager or Director / senior manager.

Choose the option that fits your role. If you are training individually, then you get the training that is right for your work.

Note: If you train in a group, the whole group gets one training. Some people may choose Junior staff or Senior staff. Others may choose Team leader / supervisor / manager or Director / senior manager. Then the group gets basic training. To make sure everyone gets the right training, train in separate groups.

Job levels in the Dashboard

The Dashboard uses your job level as a filter. You can use it to look at your data by job level.

Junior staff and Senior staff keep the same names in the Dashboard. The other two job levels have a different name:

  • Team leader / supervisor / manager is Mid-manager.

  • Director / senior manager is Manager.

Note: The Dashboard filter may also show other job levels. These are older options that are no longer actively used.
